Tel Aviv Chiropractor Serves in Sderot Israel

By Michael Dorausch, DC Dr. Ronen Mendi, a chiropractor in Israel, travels to the South District to provide care to children and their families in the city of Sderot. This is a truly amazing story!  I went to school with Dr. Mendi and I am very happy to see he is making a wonderful contrubution in very difficult times.  Most of us complain that we don't see enough patients, yet what do we really do to serve our community?  Mostly its a bunch of lip service.  Here is a doctor that won't even allow rocket attacks to stop his passion for Chiropractic.  What's stopping you?  How far are you willing to go in order to serve your community?  Do you truly beleive you are saving lives?  This doctor in Israel does!

Chiropractic and High Blood Pressure May 27, 2008

There have been some recent articles on Chiropractic helping people with high blood pressure.  I know that in my own practice I have been able to help people lower their blood pressure on average 10 millimeters of mercury.

I explain to the patient that we are not treating for high blood pressure.  We are treating the subluxation and if the subluxation is responsible for the high blood pressure than it should go down.  It is fun to see the expression on the patients faces when we do a pre and post blood pressure check so they can see the difference for themselves.

I think educating our patients regarding the power of the adjustment and the ability of their own body to heal is very powerful when the patient sees the results for themselves.
